Senior Technical Marketing Manager

We are seeking a skillful and experienced Senior Technical Marketing Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to craft compelling technical content that resonates effectively with our target audience. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, solution architects, and technical enablement to create reference materials that competitively position the technical benefits of BlueCat’s growing portfolio of solutions. The position is based in North America, subject to the terms of our hybrid work policy.  About BlueCat Marketing  You’ll be joining a growing team where you can experiment and execute new ideas within a critical industry (we power the world’s fortune 100s!).  We strive for excellence in our respective disciplines, and we also take the time to celebrate our successes.   We need your help in these critical areas:  Technical Content Development • Develop technical marketing materials including reference architectures, solution briefs, product demos, automation workflows, white papers, presentations, etc. • Coordinate with Technical Enablement on the development of product labs & demos  • Research and identify best practices from solution architect / customer calls, and turn those into standard technical product pitches. • Validate your materials with product management and the solution architects 
Competitive Analysis • Research and evaluate competitive products to identify competitive differentiators and vulnerabilities. • Coordinate with sales and solution architects to support competitive RFP responses. 
Sales & Solutions Architect Enablement • Support the sales and SA team by providing training on the materials you create to enable effective & consistent technical positioning of the BlueCat portfolio to customers. • Maintain a library of technical marketing assets, appropriately meta-tagged for easy access and search ability, while archiving or updating outdated content. 
Event Support • Develop and deliver technical product demos for BlueCat sponsored events. • Serve as subject-matter-expert to validate customer facing materials. • Host live and on-demand technical webinars
Professional Qualifications   • 7+ years in technical marketing roles for enterprise software companies within the networking / IT industry, with at least 2 of those years in the data center. You’ve racked & stacked gear and feel perfectly comfortable in front of a CLI. • Technical degree or certifications (ex: Computer Science, Information Systems, Cisco, VMware, etc.) • Experience operating within a global organization, working across time zones and cultures. • Experience developing collaborative relationships across departments. • Provide writing samples that demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate complex, technical concepts. • Technical experience in networking, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies(specific experience with DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management is advantageous).  Personal Characteristics  • Entrepreneurial mindset, can-do attitude, adaptable, and results driven. • Productive: able to work independently and is self-directed. • Organized and detail oriented, with an ability to manage concurrent projects. • Team-oriented, open to professional discourse and feedback. • Curiosity to learn about our portfolio. • Impeccable integrity and high ethical standards. • Up to 25% travel.If you share our enthusiasm for the future of ou
