Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000

JOB TITLE: Middle Analyst

REPORTS TO: Project Manager

SUMMARY: The Middle Analyst will collaborate closely with Project Management and facilitate all aspects of program support. This position will require flexibility, a willingness to learn and perfect new and changing requirements, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide high quality analytic and administrative support to Military Health System (MHS) stakeholders across the enterprise (e.g. facilitating and attending meetings, preparing presentations/reports, drafting meeting minutes)
  • Work as part of a team to support Program Management, Change Management, Business Process Re-engineering Planning and Business Case Analysis, Meeting Facilitation, and Concepts of Operations Plans Development
  • Identify process improvements and assist with design and implementation to support Program Management, Change Management, Business Process Re-engineering Planning and Business Case Analysis, Meeting Facilitation, and Concepts of Operations Plans Development
  • Compile weekly, ad hoc, monthly project reports, as directed by client
  • Assist with tracking and delegating tasks to Action Owners using pre-established processes
  • Support and coordinate with various project teams with deliverables, as needed, and coordinate with team members to complete tasks and address issues
  • Maintain strong relationships with client(s) and program management staff. Provide effective communication using transparency and responsiveness
  • Draft, edit, and coordinate various writing products, memorandums, and correspondence
  • Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) using the Department of War (DoW) product template and stylistic guidelines. Apply substantive review of each key package or product to align with the MHS’s priorities. Provide thorough compilation and editing to each DoW internal package.
  • Assist with special projects, covering a broad range of mission activities, as directed
  • Provide input for routine reports highlighting team accomplishments and goals for the next reporting period
  • Maintain filing system for required documents (physical and electronic)
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Business Operations, Program Coordination and Management Support, Communications, or a related field
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and MS integrated apps
