Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and others to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for key initiatives.
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
  • Produce and update key project governance documentation including project charters, resource plans, and risk sheets.
  • Manage execution of project through regular team meetings, coordination of resources, and regular reporting of project status.
  • Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors to formalize scope and contractor statements of work.
  • Develop and manage aggressive timelines, elevating issues like dependencies and major risks early in the timeline.
  • Maintain project portfolio reporting to regularly update leadership and stakeholders about progress and major risks to implementation.

Critical Individual Responsibilities

  • Communication: Keep stakeholders updated frequently.
  • Risk Management: Escalate when needed and quickly.
  • Culture Champion: Be a driving force for speedy execution across all types of projects.

           

KPIs and Targets

  • Deliver projects on-time per agreed timelines and milestones
  • Deliver projects on budget

Business impact, (e.g. budget, volumes, revenues, direct/indirect responsibility; strategic, tactical, operational)

Skills, knowledge and experience

  • 5-8 years in a Project or Program Manager role.
  • Confident communicator who speaks on behalf of senior stakeholders when needed.
  • Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
  • Working knowledge of Manufacturing processes
  • Outstanding knowledge of change management principles
  • Experience creating and leading teams of strong professionals.
  • Experience creating reports, charts, presentations, metrics, and project trackers.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing.
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system
  • Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies

Education: for example: preferably Master’s, Bachelor level is acceptable

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in applicable field
  • PMP certification a plus

Additional Experience & knowledge:

  • Knowledge of SCRUM methodology a plus
  • Knowledge of Lean principles a plus

Language skills:
 

  • English as a daily working language
