Senior Web Developer (4425-#LI-AS2)

We're hiring a Senior Web Developer (4425-#LI-AS2) to work for us REMOTELY for a long term mission.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a robust architectural framework for the Back-Office digital transformation, ensuring scalability and maintainability aligned with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Identify potential security vulnerabilities, design appropriate measures to protect sensitive information, mitigate cyber threats, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
• Effective Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, system administrators, data engineers, and UX specialists.
• Develop strong data integration mechanisms to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility, working closely with data engineers and analysts to enhance data accuracy, consistency, and analytics capabilities.
• Ensure smooth integration with front-office applications and supporting tools.
• Develop a future-proof architecture that improves sustainability, maintainability, and ease of system evolutions.
• Document processes and facilitate knowledge transfer to reduce onboarding time for new team members.
• Communicate architectural decisions, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and project teams in a clear and concise manner.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in modern web development frameworks and languages, such as Node.js, Django, Python, C#, ASP.NET, or similar technologies.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing architectures for complex web-based applications, such as serverless, microservice, event driven or similar architectures.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including experience in addressing cybersecurity vulnerabilities and compliance requirements.
• Experience in using and configuring containers and CI/CD protocols.
• Experience with database systems and data integration approaches.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
• Experience with containers, microservices and Restful server.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
