Assistant Manager Valet - Mandalay Bay

THE JOB:

The Assistant Manager Valet will manage all operations for the assigned department. You'll have an exceptional perception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionally. You will have the ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Establish and maintain departmental rules and procedures for all Bell, Door and Valet Parking staff.

• Oversee departmental operations, maintain high level of service expected by Hotel Management, implement and maintain training of new personnel and developmental training of all staff.

• Ensure high productivity of all employees developing effective scheduling and staffing levels.

• Assist Risk Management in investigating accidents and handling guest problems that require the involvement of Risk Management or senior management.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• 2 years of related experience.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

• Technical knowledge and experience with Opera or other reservation systems.

• Working knowledge of all vehicles including manual and automatic transmission and exotic cars.

• State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

• Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement.

• Previous experience working in a similar high-volume resort setting.
