  About this job:
Oversees all marketing and communications content and strategy. Identifies and partners with third party agencies, team leaders, deans and directors in the pursuit of new student prospects through the execution of a strategic marketing plan. Leads the College’s strategy to research, identify, and capture new opportunities to market and share about Emily Griffith Technical College. Oversees public relations and digital advertising through effective project management. Supports internal marketing efforts, including collateral development and branding, through collaboration with larger Communications team and internal stakeholders.   What DPS Offers You:

What You'll Do:  
  • Manages all marketing programs and initiatives, including the organization of project teams, contracted outsourcing services, the establishment of goals, timeframes and resource optimization and develops ideas and strategies related to the institutional public relations and marketing functions.
  • Serves as the managing editor for administrators, deans, faculty and staff in producing internal/external publications and messages.
  • Oversees all external marketing and communications efforts, marketing content development, and collaborates with College leaders to support strategic business needs while maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, programs, infrastructure, and team resources.
  • Responsible for the management, training, and support of the team in utilizing project management tools and resources related to marketing program completion.
  • Manages both internal and external marketing and communications projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring successful team alignment on strategy and tactical execution, project completion, and satisfaction.
  • Oversees reporting efforts for Communications team. Performs analysis and measurements for continuous improvement, working closely with the Communications team, Director of Operations, and Executive Leadership, to prepare, monitor and deliver reporting within the institution and promote institutional successes externally.
  • Develops, monitors and evaluates annual marketing campaigns; works with media and outside agencies to promote the institution and supports administrator's efforts to develop and foster positive relationships.
  • Leads the coordination of marketing and communication efforts internally and externally, and initiates or responds to internal/external inquiries or requests for information.
  • Coordinates with other departments and assists in performing routine updates and maintenance of key communications resources, verifying accurate and up-to-date content.
  What You’ll Need:  
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations or management.
  • A Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Two to four (2-4) years related experience, to include project and program management experience preferred.
  • One (1) or more years of experience managing short (up to 3 months) to long (12 to 14 months) range projects required, as well as multiple and/or complex programs.
  • One (1) or more years experience working with media.
  • Experience controlling projects/measuring performance (various metrics, earned value analysis, etc.).
  • PMP certification is preferred with practical experience and thorough understanding of core project management knowledge areas.
  • Knowledge of program management best practices.
  • Work style that yields high results when working independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to make well-informed decisions quickly and with high quality in mind.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals, establish priorities, and organize resources.
  • Ability to multi-task without compromising
