Join Our Team    

The successful candidate for AVP, Portfolio Allocation and Analytics will have a direct impact to the strategic and tactical asset allocation through quantitative tools to assess the portfolio composition and performance in different scenarios and to compare them with benchmarks and peers. Furthermore, you will manage the planning and forecasting process. Your responsibilities will include:   

  • Evaluate portfolio analytics including asset allocation, performance and return decomposition, sector contributions and other investment metrics.
  • Manage the planning and forecasting process for investment results and portfolio metrics based on anticipated portfolio reallocations and different market scenarios.
  • Support the optimization of strategic and tactical asset allocation including duration and sector positioning based on investment objectives and restrictions.
  • Provide benchmark analytics including performance and risk attributions.
  • Work on peer group comparisons including portfolio positioning and risk and return metrics.
  • Assess new investment opportunities and support due diligence.
  • Support projects and initiatives to increase profitability and efficiency.

Technical Skills & Experience: 

  • Graduate degree in quantitative discipline, such as physics, finance, math, statistics, or other analytical discipline with outstanding academic record. CFA designation is preferred.
  • 2+ years of finance experience in investment team
  • Experience with the fixed income market and bond math is a must.
  • Experience working with different asset classes such as equities, structured securities, private assets, etc. is a plus.
  • Strong quantitative skills and experience with financial modeling.
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin and Clearwater Analytics is a plus.
  • Strong team-oriented and communication skills - the ability to partner closely with risk, finance, actuarial and other teams within the firm.
  • Ability to take initiative in a fast-paced and results-focused team environment.
  • Driven, energetic and ability to learn quickly.

  

SALARY:  The estimated salary range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only.  In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.
