Associate Enterprise Data Specialist – HVAC Product Data is a team member that needs to be flexible and able to complete sophisticated tasks with authority to implement solutions within the scope of role. They will have worked have extensive knowledge of HVAC products and processes. They will be a major point of support for their department and company goals. Completes non-routine tasks and brings up issues to supervisor with proposed solutions. All Specialists are expected to maintain a professional and contributing attitude.
This role is Monday – Friday, 8 hours a day. Currently established as Remote.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating and Reviewing tasks within set SLA expectations: includes New Product Adds, and Maintenance.
- Ensure data integrity and maintain processes to support data quality.
- Take on bold data tasks, requiring a sophisticated level of Excel, Trilogie, and Product Knowledge.
- Ability to train/create resources related to tasks within scope of role.
- Encouraging of Production Operators and responding to questions pertaining to product knowledge and job tasks.
- Research, validate, and standardize data to support customer needs and company growth objectives.
- Apply critical thinking in reviewing vendor/third-party provided data in various formats for accuracy.
- Providing effective suggestions to improve processes and tool creation.
- Thoroughly reading all forms of communication that pertain to the department and taking any necessary action.
- Communicates with others within and outside job area using high level communication.
- Time Management of daily/weekly/monthly schedule to complete tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Collaborate and partner with technology to assess and establish operational processes to govern various data domains within MDM platforms, business applications or ERP systems for health and efficiency.
- Assists with advising business applications and operations counterparts on data usage to ensure data integrity, accuracy and availability.
- Work with supervisors, peers, and associates within the company to ensure appropriate business outcomes are delivered.
- May assist in training new associates, maintaining work instructions and SOPs, and recommending changes for improvement.
- Handle basic issues under direct supervision and raising more sophisticated issues to appropriate staff.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a business field or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with/manipulating data required.
- Demonstrable understanding of and experience working in an MDM and/or PIM system.
- Proficiency in Excel required.
- Demonstrated ability to complete established goals with limited mentorship.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibits awareness of data governance/management concepts.
- Knowledge or experience working with HVAC products or data preferred.
