About the role

As the Senior Talent Experience Business Partner you will report to the Director, Talent Experience.  You will play a key role in making Mission Cloud a great place to work by exemplifying the Core Values and provide guidance to managers and team members aligned with our core values. Build and maintain strong business acumen in order to serve as a trusted advisor and partner to leadership and managers, aligning people initiatives with organizational goals and objectives. Provide strategic guidance and support in areas such as talent management, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and change management.
This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership and managers to develop and implement people strategies and initiatives that align with Mission Cloud’s core values, business goals and drive organizational performance.
  • Address and resolve on employee relations matters by conducting investigations, working through conflict resolution, guiding on disciplinary actions, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and Mission Clouds policies and people first approach. 
  • Provide expert guidance and support to leadership across talent programs and people matters including objective promotion process, talent management, compensation and rewards, organization design and change management. 
  • May lead and support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and cultural transformation, by providing guidance, communication plans, and change management plans including collaboration with key stakeholders.  
  • Collaborate with the Talent Development to select and deliver training programs that address skill gaps, promote professional development, and support change efforts. 
  • Participate in the design and implementation of company wide Talent Experience initiatives, including diversity and inclusion initiatives, engagement, retention, and continuous feedback. 
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, retention and diversity and inclusion efforts, as well as communication of continuous feedback.
  • Partner with the People & Culture teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that support a positive work environment, align with our core values and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law - provide guidance and recommendations to leadership. 
  • Coach and mentor junior Talent Experience team members, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • You are people focused, compliance minded and business savvy professionals ready to partner with leaders to ensure they have the right people in the right place at the right time to deliver business results with a positive impact on culture. 
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. 
  • Knowledge and practical application of HR disciplines including employment and labor laws, employee relations, management & leadership development, performance management, organizational design and compensation philosophies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coach, influence and build effective relationships with leaders at various levels. 
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into effective HR solutions.
  • Expertise in employee relations, performance management, talent management, change agent and organizational development.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage metrics and data to drive insight
  • Ability to work in multi state and international organization preferred 
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP and PHR) is preferred.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (to be obtained within 1 year of employment)
