What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-SOAS SIGINT/Linguist (Mandarin) (Multi-Discipline Language Analyst - MDLA), you will serve as a key member of a threat analyses and strategic planning team supporting Task Force 40-25 and in direct support of US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), the Theater Special Operations Commands and other Strategic Partners across the Special Operations Forces Emerging Threat, Operations and Planning Support (SOFETOPS) enterprise. You will directly provide intelligence support to targeting, planning and policy development for complex projects. You will be responsible for employing and integrating cutting-edge intelligence analysis tools and technology across multiple disciplines and providing operational insight to senior military and US Government leaders. You will incorporate Metadata and Publicly Available Information (PAI) into intelligence products. You will support SIGINT and CYBER analysis and target development and conduct reporting and assessments in support of readiness, operational planning, operations, and innovation initiatives. Through support to SIGINT and CYBER analysis, you will contribute to developing new solutions, processes, and standards while communicating with parties external to your organization, the interagency, and its community of interest (COI). You will be responsible for providing accurate, relevant, and timely translations, target development, and assessments, and you will coordinate and integrate all pertinent input and data from analysts supporting the project. You will be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training less-experienced employees within the Modernization Analyses, Assessment, and Planning Functional Group (MAAP) (I3C) and across the SOFETOPS enterprise within the technical area of expertise of multi-discipline language analytics.

More About this Role:

  • Support Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Support to Human Intelligence (HUMINT), emerging technologies Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED), and Open-Source intelligence (OSINT) collection directed toward the identification, targeting, and exploitation of emerging threats.
  • Provides linguistical analysis of signals intelligence, cyber, and Commercially Available Information (CAI) (ex. Commercial Telemetry Data (CTD)), including the execution of analytic functions, the performance of analytical services, and providing expertise to assist the government in day-to-day staff support functions.
  • Provides specialized linguistical analysis to support the execution of multi-disciplinary intelligence fusion activities and support the SOFETOPS mission.
  • Performs tools-based data management and supports integration across the greater enterprise.
  • Conducts ongoing requirements analysis of theater-specific operations.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with DoD and interagency Partners to provide flexible, real-time solutions to emerging threats.
  • Curates and supports the development of a counter-threat data repository.
  • Identifies trends in threat development to anticipate future capabilities and reduce costs for the government

 You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Willing to take a CI Poly
  • Language test scores equivalent to the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Skill Level 3/3 in Listening and/or Reading within the past two years.
  • Two or more years of experience in creating summaries, gists, and full translations in various textual forms of Chinese Mandarin including technical, global, colloquial, online, and slang terminology.
  • Two or more years performing open source research in target language.
  • Ability to conduct independent and collaborative research on assigned topics or target areas

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations. 
  • Current CI Poly
  • Experience as a 35P, 1N3X1, 1A8X1, CTI, 267X or equivalent is preferred
  • Language proficiency in an additional language: Chinese/Russian
  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience, or associate degree and seven years of experience, or nine years of relevant work experience. We will also consider candidates with five years of directly relevant experience.
  • Experience working with NSA/CSS in targeting, intell
