Job Description:
As a Program/Project Manager at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and United States Army. Become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals delivering expertise in program management, systems integration, and technology fielding across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with proven experience in managing complex, multi-year programs and projects, driving interoperability, compliance, and innovation to advance Army modernization and support to the warfighter.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the overall planning, direction, and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and technology initiatives.
Define, organize, and direct short- and long-range plans, including technical approaches, resource allocation, and milestone establishment.
Oversee the execution of integration projects, ensuring compliance with DoD standards and data requirements.
Track and report on program/project progress, including schedules, budgets, costs, and technology fielding.
Coordinate outreach and partner engagements to promote adoption of common standards and modular open systems approaches (MOSA, ISA).
Support the development of program schedules, briefs, and reports to communicate interoperability progress and cost reductions.
Guide and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives and deliver interoperable capabilities.
Foster collaboration across multiple stakeholders and ensure alignment with organizational and agency goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
5–15+ years of professional experience in program/project management.
Secret is required
Demonstrated leadership in managing large, multi-year programs or projects.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with DoD standards, compliance, and modular open systems approaches is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment.
