Who We're Looking For

We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

 

We are an emergency hospital as well as a specialty surgery and wellness center. We see everything except for monkeys!

 

Critter Care Veterinary Clinic is one of the only Exotic Veterinary Hospitals in Laredo. Our doctors are extremely skilled and can perform several surgeries and procedures that may normally have to be sent out of town to be done! We also work with the local shelters, law enforcement, environmental centers, and the TX game wardens. If you are eager to learn and work with all types of animals this is the place for you. We are a group of highly trained, experienced animal lovers who are devoted to giving our patients the best care possible. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Assistant to join our awesome team.

Requirements
