Finance Controller

 

Currently we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Controller to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in corporate reporting, statutory compliance, and business partnering. You’ll also provide valuable insights across tax, treasury, legal, and business information functions.

 

A JOB THAT MATTERS: Your Tasks

 

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, AP/AR, and monthly closings
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and statutory tax requirements, including VAT filings, export/import documentation, and BA&BS reconciliation
• Perform daily bookkeeping, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Analyze inventory, cost of goods sold, and intercompany transactions
• Monitor accounts receivable and coordinate collections
• Support monthly and annual financial closings, including balance sheet preparation
• Collaborate with external payroll and bookkeeping providers
• Assist in statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants
• Maintain accounting systems and documentation for accurate and timely reporting

 

EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS: Your Skills

 

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in finance, ideally in a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards in Czechia and Slovakia
• Solid understanding of statutory and reporting compliance
• Audit experience (internal or external) is a plus
• Analytical mindset with a business-oriented approach
• Very good English language skills (written and spoken)
