THE TEAM

Nested within SAP Global Services, the Content Hub is an operating model driving, orchestrating and enabling the content layer within Services.  But how?  The answer is our dedicated experts working globally helping infuse their deep expertise and thought leadership across SAP’s lines of business and industry solutions.

Subject matter experts within the Content Hub work in close alignment with Product Engineering, Industry Business Units (IBU), Go to Market and Regional / Market Unit Services teams. As a result, Services benefits from more innovative, market-relevant delivery opportunities and higher sales potential, while Product Engineering is given the opportunity to get industry insights drawn from client experience in the field.

Ultimately, this collaboration delivers the best services and innovations to our customers who are the centrepiece in the Content Hub operating model.

 

THE ROLE

As a “ENR Solution Architect (Senior/Expert)” in Services for global Energy and Natural Resources (ENR) Industries Team, you will play an instrumental role to:

• Successfully deliver customer outcomes for ENR industry customers globally in teamwork with the regional/ local delivery teams
• Roll-in industry market/ customer requirements across all regions to productize service packages and content
• Support SAP ENR industry stakeholders across Product Engineering and Sales with deep industry knowledge

 

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Self-driven motivation to drive SAP’s success in the ENR industry by securing our customer’s success and knowledge growth across the eco-system. Work in a global expert team within the industry cluster to fulfill following key tasks:

• Drive customer success by delivering SAP projects and act as a globally trusted strategic advisor for customers and partner eco-system
• Hands on solution implementation experience and on at least one or more Core industry and Line of Business solution is a must.
• It is expected that applicant will do hands on solution configuration, setup including all tasks forming part of the work packages within SAP activate project implementation methodology.
• Support License & Services Sales across the globe with thought leadership & expert knowledge and drive incubation and create lighthouse customer cases
• Capture, package and create global innovative assets with outcome-based and faster time-to-value to accelerate customer adoption
• Support definition and build of new solution components that drive market adoption in close alignment with Product Engineering
• Lead the knowledge collection, sharing and distribution to educate across the eco-system to increase SAP’s footprint inclusive of partner enablement.

 

 WORK EXPERIENCE & ADDITIONAL SKILLS

•  5+ years in ENR industry as a delivery consultant
• 10+ years hands-on full cycle implementation experience as Consultant or Solution Architect for SAP solutions
• Ability and willingness to travel 80%
• Location: USA or Canada

• Relevant degree, as well as an adequate career in one or more of the following industries/process areas in the ENR industry cluster:
  • Oil and Gas
  • Life Sciences
  • Renewables, and new energy
  • Utilities
  • Mill products
  • Mining
  • Chemicals
  • Asset Management
  • Commodity Trading and Risk Management.
• Profound knowledge in one or more of the SAP Solutions in the industries/process areas listed above.
• Demonstrable advisory and implementation skills in the above areas with the following prior experience (one or more):
