Role Overview

The Production Associate will report to the Director of Sourcing and Production. They will maintain daily communication with overseas factories, meet critical deadlines on TNA, prioritize shipments, and work on special projects as needed.  

Responsibilities

• Responsible for development and production milestone due dates on TNA
• Review WIP with vendors and the overseas team on a weekly basis to ensure all critical dates are met
• Responsible for PO issuance, maintenance & revision. Weekly clean up in Movex to ensure system is updated
• Identify, escalate and trouble shoot production issues with CFT and upper management as needed        
• Assist in proof reading buysheet against PO uploader prior to sending it to factory
• Follow up on shipment bookings, resolve booking exceptions. Work with logistics and sales to prioritize “hot” shipments
• Track customer direct and DDP shipment and provide to cross-functional teams as needed
• Set-up and maintain the system information each season (style master, color codes, and all production related data)
• Ensure testing requirements and compliance are met at SKU level
• Partner closely with sales and marketing manager on packaging to make sure development is on track in timely manner (brand specific)
• Assist in tracking AD and TOP samples
• Support manager in sourcing & costing functions

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the apparel industry specifically in production
• Experience communicating with overseas agents and factories a must
• Fabric and costing knowledge a plus
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills - able to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
• Has a sense of urgency in managing time and while accomplishing tasks
• Adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills
• PLM experience a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
