IT Team Leader (SAP Projects)

Our client is a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company, that has been serving public health for nearly a century. We are looking for an experienced IT Manager for their growing team in Istanbul, their office is located in the European side.

Job Responsibilities

• Research information systems solutions and new technologies that will meet the business needs of the organization and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, and design smart financial solutions.
• Conduct work in compliance with policies, procedures, and standards related to IT Process Management.
• Manage the SAP Modules (MM, PP, PM, eWM, QM) and related SAP applications for which they are responsible.
• Be proficient in the applications and business processes for which they are responsible/support, identify digital transformation opportunities in processes, and develop solutions that will increase efficiency.
• Determine business needs and expectations, and conduct process analysis work.
• Manage IT projects and requests, and support teammates in teamwork.
• Provide necessary training related to applications used within the IT department.
• Carry out necessary work regarding time planning, budget, risk and supplier management, and payment management for the projects and requests they manage.
• Introduce and inform employees about both existing applications and emerging technologies, offer solution suggestions according to their needs, and provide consultancy.
• Design, develop, and provide solutions at defined service levels, in accordance with work plans/priorities, to solve IT problems of organization employees.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduated from relevant undergraduate/graduate programs of universities (Business/Economics, Industrial, Mathematics, Computer, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or equivalent undergraduate/graduate degree)
• At least 8 years of experience related to the job description
• Advanced written/spoken English skills
• Teamwork oriented
• Detail-oriented, results-focused, proactive, and capable of analytical thinking
• Experienced in team and project management
