Job Description Qualifications:

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage employees performing activities related to Work Movement, Supplier Development and Supplier Program Management throughout all contract phases. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

• Mange assessment of SOWs identified for potential work movement, identify all critical requirements specific to the SOWs (including materials, manufacturing processes, special processes, assembly-integration-testing requirements etc. required as per the technical data package) and share with global stake holders (Work Movement Team, Strategy Team, Commodity Team- as applicable)

• Supplier capability assessment (including onsite assessment) as required, for Boeing Statement of Work across commodities by evaluating infrastructure, manufacturing processes, special processes, testing capabilities, leading to supplier recommendation/ on-boarding

• Shall acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical oversight of suppliers and leads process improvements.

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees

• Assigns authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the plan. Reviews plans' execution, makes appropriate adjustments, and resolves issues. Monitors appropriate organizational metrics to ensure performance to plan.

• Coaches, counsels, mentors and provides developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities.

• Provides on-going developmental feedback and perform team's performance assessment. Recognizes contributions of individuals and teams to improve employee satisfaction and retain a skilled and motivated workforce.

• Conveys organizational messages to facilitate the accomplishment of work-group, project or process goals. Proactively communicates with employees, peers (e.g., fellow first-level managers) and customers. Keeps others informed by communicating project status, conducting and participating in team meetings, providing presentations and listening to employee concerns and suggestions. Communicates policies and directives to enhance employee awareness of expectations.

• Systematically evaluates proper job classification of employees, sets employee goals and objectives, manages and evaluates performance to plan on a reoccurring basis. Assigns employee salaries based on employee value and Boeing guidelines to provide a fair and equitable work environment.

• Establishes partnerships and relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports

Basic Qualifications:

• Engineering degree with Bachelor or Master in Mechanical /Aerospace / Aeronautical / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics etc.

• The candidate shall have strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and strong ability to understand technical requirements (including materials, manufacturing processes, special processes, testing requirements etc.)

• Strong knowledge of supplier base and proven track record of managing critical and complex programs at suppliers involving cross functional stake holders.

• The candidate shall have proven ability in supplier development activities (both pre & post award) including technical oversight to manage complex programs / work transfers.

• Candidate shall have adequate experience of procurement systems, lean manufacturing, six sigma methodology, proposal process and product development, qualification and performance management

• Candidate shall have good product and process knowledge across commodities (aero structures, composites, avionics, electrical systems, machining) & Assembly, Integration, Testing etc.

• Candidate shall have sound knowledge on aviation Quality Management System and shall be familiar with special processes involved in manufacturing including statutory / regulatory approvals (eg. NADCAP, PRI, FAA etc.)

• Knowledge of Production Systems, Advance Manufacturing Techniques, New Product Introduction, tools like APQP, Root Cause Analysis/ Corrective Actions will be added advantage
