Flight Physics is responsible for the design and characterization of all military aircraft programs throughout their product life cycle. We use numerical simulations and testing to understand the aircraft behaviour and to create and deliver aircraft representative data for flight performance, aerodynamics, structural dynamics, mass properties, acoustics and vibration.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Support and perform technologies, process, methods and tool developments within Flight Physics in close collaboration with the technical domains
Implementation of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions based on iterative model development: model and algorithm selection, model training, model validation and model optimization
Development of integrated solutions to support the end-to-end processes digitalisation for Overall Aircraft Design
Technical support responsibility of end-to-end life-cycle of established process, methods and tools components – starting with proof-of-concept until integration in industrialized processes
Documentation and evidencesfor the process, methods and tools development and knowledge transfer to the essential stakeholders
Develop, prove, validate and deploy disruptive ways of solving problems in flight physics with a holistic approach. Challenge the status quo.
Desired skills and qualifications
University degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or equivalent.
At least 3 years professional experience in programming & data science in development and engineering areas
Applied skills in Python and C++ and state-of -the art data science frameworks
Excellent knowledge in continuous integration integration and tool developments and with a clear focus on business problems and have an entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset
Experience with continuous integration and validation environment (CI/CE) and Git
Previous experience in Machine learning modeling for Engineering applications would be a plus
Previous experience with front end and database development would be a plus
Previous experience on CFD & FEM would be a plus
Previous experience on High Performance Computing and Linux server administration would be a plus
Strong desire to work, learn and grow as part of a digitalization and technology team
