About the role

Description

Healthcare Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at a highly regarded senior living community in the heart of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The OTA will work with a diverse population – rehab to home, long term care and assisted living -- addressing their unique therapeutic needs. 


· Well-equipped therapy gym includes training kitchen and bathroom.

· Full-time, 30-40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday.

· Competitive hourly rate and compensation package.

· Excellent referral system and supportive nursing.

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.


Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
