Risk Management Coordinator

Responsible for implementing the System's Legal Risk Program. Responsible for the general supervision of the Risk Specialists. Oversees the accuracy of coding occurrence events; coordinators reporting measures related to the Risk Occurrence reporting data.

 

• Serves as liaison with attorney offices and assumes responsibility for review of legal documents, follow-up of legal issues and providing discovery information to attorney offices; 
• maintains current insurance documents, certifications and other documents required by federal, state regulations and system policies; 
• leads problem investigations and provides recommendations for resolution.

• Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in patient care related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 3 years in direct patient care
