Protera is looking for an HR Admin. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining personnel records, updating databases, and maintaining documentation on company policies. They gather payroll data, assist the Talent Acquisition Team, and prepare HR-related reports. They also develop training materials and respond to employee inquiries about benefits. Overall, their role is to ensure smooth HR operations and provide support to the HR department and perform other administrative tasks, as assigned.
Protera is looking to recruit an HR Administrative assistant fluent in spoken and written Greek & English for its office in in Athens, Greece.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll records such as auditing timekeeping, entering new hires/terminations into the payroll system, and compile reports for audits
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations as directed
- Support company operations by completing administrative tasks
- Assist in the designing and implementation of office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and make necessary adjustments
- Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and follow up on work schedules.
- Maintain physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts and PTO requests
- Prepare HR related reports and presentations
- Develop and maintain training and onboarding material, assist Talent Acquisition team with onboarding process formalities
- Respond to employees’ questions about payroll, health, and employment benefits
- Serve as back-up to other payroll specialists
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years advanced business education and/or 2 years of experience in any of the following: payroll, accounting, or human resources
- Exposure to payroll, HRIS software, Microsoft O365
- Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, high attention to detail and creative problem solving skills
- Be self-motivated and act independently while being team oriented
- Good follow-up skills; adaptability and a strong sense of accountability
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Basic knowledge of labour legislation
