Position: Principal / Staff Engineer, Quality process Digitization expert
Team: Quality Assurance Engineering Team
- Experience: 10+ years
- Expertise:, Quality Systems and Core tools (8D, Audits, FMEA), in accordance with Automotive projects/programs with Standards such as ISO 9K and IATF and ASPICE, will be a plus.
- Key Role: This is a mid-senior level position in the field of Quality Assurance Engineering, focused on Quality tools workflow governance and maintenance in JIRA platform. This role combines expertise in QMS processes and JIRA administration with a focus on process compliance and digitization of quality processes in JIRA platform.
- This role also ensures that tool enhancement requests from various stakeholders are understood and work with the JIRA development team to upgrade or modify the workflow in JIRA to suit the requirements. Experience in JIRA administration, dashboard and data analytics is required.
- Semiconductor Experience in Product development / Manufacturing is helpful
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Processes Leadership:
- Lead, govern and continually improve the QMS processes and core tools in JIRA.
- Define and refine processes to enhance the workflow in JIRA
- Ensure the compliance of standard requirements using JIRA administration
- Process Definition:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and streamline Standardized QMS processes.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct audits to evaluate adherence to various standards and other customer requirements.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings.
- JIRA administration:
- Leverage experience in JIRA to enhance quality tools/processes.
- Awareness and knowledge in ISO 9K, IATF 16949
- Need to have expertise in coming out with guided work flow in JIRA for Quality core tools and provide tool training to the team on these workflows.
- Implement best practices for quality assurance in line with industry standards.
- Mandatory experience in Quality Management Systems and core tools such as 8D, DFMEA, Control plan, Business Risk Management, and Internal audit process.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with JIRA Development, and MFG teams to ensure a unified approach to quality processes.
- Facilitate communication and understanding between different functional areas.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training sessions to teams on Quality Core tools and automated workflows in JIRA.
- Mentor team members to enhance their understanding of the processes and tools
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree or higher in Electronics / Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- At least 10+ years in Quality Assurance Engineering or related field in Electronics industry or related industries.
- Fluent English communication
PREFERRED:
- Previous experience in Flash, Automotive Product Design and Manufacturing.
- Trained Six-sigma, quality tool, SPC, FMEA, and 8D
