Under the direction of the Manager, this job is responsible for developing, preparing, and tracking departmental performance metrics. Analyzes operational data and design reports to support management in optimizing processes and improving decision-making. Contributes to the execution of high-impact initiatives aimed at enhancing business effectiveness. Identifies opportunities through data analytics and provides actionable recommendations for implementation.
- Develops and maintains performance reports to monitor key departmental metrics, including trends in delinquencies, charge-offs, and recoveries. Conducts data analysis and designs reporting tools to support management in optimizing operational workflows such as pipeline management and quality control. Demonstrates a solid understanding of the Bank’s core products and services.
- Ensures the accuracy and integrity of data used in reporting and analysis. Investigates anomalies and collaborates across departments to resolve data issues. Continuously refines methodologies and enhances existing processes to improve efficiency and reliability. Proposes and implements solutions aligned with departmental goals, while maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supports the execution of departmental and enterprise-wide initiatives. Manages multiple concurrent projects and objectives, demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Identifies operational challenges and drives them to resolution through structured analysis and collaboration.
- Ensures adherence to all applicable federal, state, and internal policies and procedures related to debt collection. Serves as the department’s Compliance Coordinator, responsible for drafting and submitting updates to departmental and Bank-wide procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal teams and external partners to maximize business value. Possesses a valid driver’s license and is available for inter-island, mainland, and international travel as required.
- Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 0-2 years related experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in management reporting and data analysis, with a strong ability to define, track, and report on key performance metrics. Skilled in translating complex data into meaningful insights that support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
- Proficient in various computer software systems including Microsoft Word and Excel. Able to create and use financial modeling techniques.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, project management, interpersonal, oral and writing skills.
