The Project Lead, Internal Installs PositionSunnova Energy is searching for a Project Lead to be responsible for working within the Installation Services Department, and will be responsible for, but not limited to, managing and gaining updates on internal installation project pipelines, coordination of completing necessary applications through AHJ’s (Authorities Having Jurisdiction), Utility companies and Sunnova’s Internal teams. The ideal candidate will need to develop effective working relationships with cross-functional areas to ensure on-time completion of customer installations. The candidate will need to take the initiative to quickly resolve issues and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Project Lead, Internal Installs Responsibilities•  Develops plans and schedules for production and coordinates the production process from start to completion with internal field team/subcontractors; identifies and implements efficiencies in process and production.•  Oversees day-to-day management of projects take non internally and remotely coordinates all phases of project completion.•  Aids in submission of permit and utility applications and coordinating inspections as needed.•  Reviews paperwork from the field for accuracy and for processing in exactions.
  •  Generates and compiles reports as requested by management; reports metrics to ensure project deadlines and company goals are achieved.•  Coordinates and updates program documents to ensure the information is recorded and stored properly within Sunnova’s systems.•  Communicates with customer care to diffuse customer concerns with installations that have been in the process over expected timeline.•  Interfaces with customers, local AHJ’s, city inspectors, field service crews and all levels of management in the execution of their responsibilities.•  Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements•  Bachelor’s Degree•  2-4+years of proven experience in project management, project coordination or related role Preferred Qualifications•  Experience in the Solar, water ,energy or utility markets•  Knowledge of the municipal out sourcing market•  Experience using Microsoft Project•  Fluent in English and Spanish Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities•  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicates with peers, senior management and partners•  Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft office(Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)•  Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and leadership skills•  Ability to be responsible, self-directed, and accountable to goals•  Strong project management and organization skills, ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and work well under deadlinesWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
