As a Physical Security Enablement Senior Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding and enabling our global IBX’s with world-class physical security solutions. 

This role requires a strong background in Security Integration Project Management, overseeing complex, multisite deployments of access control, video surveillance, intercom, intrusion detection, and related infrastructure. You will lead crossfunctional initiatives, manage endtoend project lifecycles, and ensure seamless integration of security technologies across construction, operations, and design teams. 

Responsibilities

You’ll lead and support complex security initiatives across our global Data Center footprint, collaborating with teams from Cyber Security to Global Design & Construction. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, operational resilience, and compliance excellence. 

Security Operations & Enablement 

  • Maintain alignment with national and regional executive stakeholders on security systems architecture, policy, strategic direction, and long-term business objectives

  • Manage multiple tasks and deliverables across crossfunctional security projects

  • Provide guidance and technical insight for security design engineering and project planning for new Data Center builds and expansions

Project Management (with a strong focus on Physical Security Integration) 

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of physical security integration projects, including scheduling, budgeting, vendor management, risk mitigation, and performance reporting

  • Lead project kickoffs, facilitate stakeholder meetings, track action items, and ensure accountability across all phases of deployment

  • Develop and manage project plans for installation, commissioning, and cutover of integrated security platforms

  • Analyze operational, installation, and performance data to identify risks, streamline workflows, improve productivity, and enhance operational resilience and profitability

Data Center Support & Systems 

  • Resolve day-to-day security system issues across multiple IBXs, ensuring uptime, compliance, and customer satisfaction

  • Conduct SPOF analyses, EndofLife reviews, site physicals, and develop remediation plans

  • Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for security systems, installation coordination, and vendor engagement

Training & Development 

  • Design and deliver training programs for global teams to ensure consistent implementation of security standards, tools, and processes

  • Identify training needs across stakeholders and drive knowledge transfer for systems and operational best practices

  • Stay informed on industry trends and introduce innovative approaches to strengthen global security programs

Design & Engineering Collaboration 

  • Review and refine physical security design standards for new builds, expansions and mergers and acquisitions

  • Recommend improvements to design, development, implementation, and operational processes to enhance quality, integrate new technologies, and improve overall efficiency

  • Conduct detailed drawing reviews for internal teams and crossfunctional design partners (Electrical, Telcom, and IT) to ensure compliance with Equinix security standards
