Working Student / Intern - Finance Operations

The Team:

This role will report to the Head of Global Finance Operations.  This role is part of the wider Finance organization at Celonis.

The Role:

As a Finance Operations Specialist (m/f/d) you are the gatekeeper between Sales and Finance and make sure that all deals show up correctly in Celonis’ Finance Reporting and can be timely licensed to our customers. You will closely work with the Go-To-Market, Product and Finance organization to ensure business requirements of high quality. As part of the Finance Operations team you will  steer and optimize the current licensing process to live up to Celonis’ growth ambitions.

The work you’ll do:

• Manage Celonis’ global licensing activities by ensuring a timely provisioning of new licenses and maintaining existing licenses based on customer contracts
• Key point of contact for licenses, partners and internal stakeholders for all provisioning related questions
• Continuous review of existing processes to identify improvements and automation possibilities
• Coordinate with the product team to maintain knowledge of all licensing changes
• Collaborate with Legal and Finance to ensure compliant and state-of-the art license processes
• Establish a comprehensive license reporting and controlling that serves as decision basis for Management
• Continuously improve finance-related after-sales processes and come up with ideas on process automation
• Build smart reportings to cross check data correctness and help using Celonis EMS to leverage the data

The qualifications you need:

• Bachelors in business administration, economics, finance, or a comparable degree program
• Accurate and focussed way of working and strive to meet a zero error philosophy
• Ability to quickly understand complex processes while always focussing on the big picture
• Being assertive and feeling comfortable getting in touch with various stakeholders and enjoy interactions with other colleagues
• Fable for Big Data and Process Mining and the SaaS environment, process optimization
• Visionary, an analytical thinker, and characterized by working independently and showing initiative
• Already gained experiences with Salesforce and Zuora (as a plus) and have profound knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• Rock verbal and written English, German (as a plus)
• Full time availability for 1 year
