Sr Business Development Manager

Geography: Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to oversee and lead a team of Business Development Managers within the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Mid-West market focused on down channel/contractor pull-through sales to the Wolf Home Products Dealer Network. This individual will play a key role in driving more engagement with the Wolf Pro contractor program, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful execution of business development initiatives across multiple markets. The role requires a strong leader who can coach, manage, develop and inspire a team while also directly engaging in high-level business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of Business Development Managers across regions/markets.
• Set clear targets, performance KPIs, and activity metrics for the team.
• Provide team with needed resources and training to be product experts supporting the dealer selling teams.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable team culture.

Business Development Strategy

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Provide market insights and feedback to inform product, marketing, and leadership teams.

Client & Partner Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers at key accounts.
• Represent the company at high-level meetings, industry events, and networking forums.
• Ensure consistent delivery of value to clients and partners through customized solutions.

Operational Excellence

• Monitor pipeline managemen across the team.
• Ensure accurate reporting of activities, projections, and performance metrics.
• Implement best practices, processes, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to support growth initiatives.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Goal oriented and self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills
• Building materials/Outdoor living product knowledge and experience a huge plus!
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Processing software.  

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
• Must have a have a valid license, current insurance, and acceptable driving record.
