Position:  Clinical Community Liaison, RN

Location:  Spaulding

Type:  Fulltime, Nonexempt

Anticipated Schedule:  Five 8-hour day shifts per week. One back-up on call shift per month, some afterhours.

Position Overview:

Tri-Cities Chaplaincy guides our community members to live their best lives, even and especially through the end of life. The Clinical Community Liaison Registered Nurse (RN) will develop, maintain, and grow community relationships to cultivate collaboration and partnerships with Chaplaincy Health Care in Benton and Franklin Counties, as well as surrounding communities. This includes hospitals, facilities, medical clinics, community organizations and any other referral source that is appropriate for hospice services.

Requirements

  

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Current, unrestricted, Washington State license as a professional registered nurse. 

2. Expertise in written and oral communication and EMR documentation.

3. Ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and respond accordingly.

4. Ability to provide hospice education to facility staff members, patients, and families.

5. Willingness to travel within the community.

6. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

7. This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test which includes cannabis testing in Washington State.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in healthcare, hospice, home health, ICU, marketing, liaison experience.

CHPN Certification

Compensation

Pay Range: $35.00 – $73.81/hour

Starting Pay Range: $35.50 – $65.79/hour

At Tri-Cities Chaplaincy, we carefully establish salary ranges for our positions by taking various factors into account, including education, certifications, knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions. These ranges are tailored to match the diverse programs and services we offer. Our goal is to ensure fair compensation for candidates based on these factors while maintaining internal peer equity.


Benefits (this is for full-time position – edit for part time, per diem, contractor etc.)

· Mileage Reimbursement: $0.67 per mile, for eligible positions.

· Vacation: Accrual of hours each pay period based on hours worked.

· Wellness Days: After the 90-day introductory period, eligible employees can convert up to two sick days into wellness days.

· Annual "Yay Day": Full-time employees receive 1 paid day off every January to volunteer in the community.

· Sick Time: Earned on an accrual basis, with a 90-day hold for new hires (usable after 90 days)

· Paid Holidays: Ten recognized holidays with no waiting period for new hires.
