If you are looking to utilize your business partnering and FP&A skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team is the place for you. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business performance and growth. You'll have the opportunity to standardize and coordinate forecasting, planning, and analysis, gaining strategic insights into business performance and tracking key investments across the operating unit

We are working onsite a minimum of 4 days per week as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. This role will require less than 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

         

         

Responsibilities will include the following and other duties may be assigned, as applicable:

  • Provide strategic finance support for Marketing, Training/Education, and administrative functions within CAS to ensure alignment with goals and objectives

  • Perform detailed variance analysis, comparing actual results against budgeted figures, and provide insightful commentary to management

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership, highlighting key financial trends, variances, and recommendations for improvement

  • Standardize processes to provide business performance insights

  • Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across Medtronic finance

  • Educate business partners on financial topics and policies

  • Lead the development and deployment of annual KPIs and processes

  • Handle ad-hoc requests and special projects as needed

Nice to Have:

  • CPA or MBA

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint

  • Experience with Essbase, OneStream, and/or SAP

Requirements: Requires a Baccalaureate degree AND minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
