Overview

How you can make a difference  

The Manager Service Delivery is responsible for the day to day relationship, and companywide operational oversight of our managed client groups. This role is responsible for execution of department level strategy. The responsibilities will include developing team members to effectively and efficiently meet their client’s needs and to act as an escalation point to quickly resolve escalated issues. This position will be an advocate within HealthEquity for their team and their clients to ensure team and client needs and requests are heard.

 

What you’ll be doing 

• Manages and carries out the personnel actions for direct reports, including but not limited to hiring and scheduling; training and evaluating; coaching and managing performance; making salary, merit, or other compensation recommendations for team of direct reports; and making recommendations and/or taking corrective or disciplinary action as appropriate. • Develop, deliver and support ongoing training on HealthEquity products and services• Maintain a positive working relationship with other department leaders and collaborate with them to avoid real or perceived silos between teams• Collaborate with other department leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and address challenges/escalations• Plan strategies and execute on department level initiatives• Identity, track and report key performance indicators• Report on your team's book of clients, including client health status and lead out on service recovery projects.• Act as a subject matter expert on core HealthEquity product offerings and benefits industry• Serve as an internal ambassador for our clients and represent those interests in HealthEquity business projects, go-to-market and operational readiness initiatives• Support contract renewals and amendments for your team’s clients • Travel with team members as needed to support onsite service review meetings

What you will need to be successful

 

Education and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of relationship management with health plans or within the health benefits/health account industry • 2+ years of people leadership experience

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Strong benefits industry knowledge • Project management skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail• Self-starter and self-motivated• Ability to effectively hold difficult conversation with team members and clients. • Ability to train, coach and develop team members • Ability to lead team members in multiple locations and those working remote• Passion for delivering exceptional service

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:• None Required

Physical/Mental Requirements and Demands:

• Work requires normal range of hearing, vision and verbal communication skills, with or without a reasonable accommodation. • Must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment and operate a keyboard and other office equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation. • Must be able to spend prolonged periods of each workday on the phone• The ability to perform work at a computer station for 6-8+ hours a day and function in an environment with frequent interruptions is required. • At times, subject to sitting/standing for prolonged periods • Must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20lbs• May experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.

Salary Range

$83500.00 To $129000.00 / year
