CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER JUNIOR

<p><span>We are currently seeking a Construction Engineer, reporting to a Project Construction Coordinator and/or the Construction Section Head, within Construction, Start-up &amp; Subcontracting Department in our Rome Operating Center, in Italy</span>.</p> <p><strong>About The Role:</strong></p> <p><span>The candidate shall be involved in the Construction Home Office activities, during a project execution and/or proposals preparation. Typically said activities consist in issuing technical documents (studies, plans, layouts, specifications, method statements, presentations etc.) relevant to the Construction execution phase and to site activities aspects (strategies, constructability, tasks sequencing / planning, supervision staff organization, material management, logistics, subcontractors pre-qualification, etc.)</span></p> <p><span>It will be a work to be done in team, coordinated by senior resources and interacting with colleagues from other Departments and from other Operating Centers located abroad.</span></p> <p><span>Initially, during the alignment phase, the candidate will be based in Rome Home Office, but short missions for surveys, visits and meetings with Project stakeholders (Clients, Construction companies, Partners, local Authorities) may be necessary.</span></p> <p><span>When possible, early training on site may be opted to boost resource potential and growth.</span></p> <p><span>Candidate professional development shall be focused on progressive self-sufficiency, familiarization with Company tools / standards and readiness to site mobilization within construction management team.</span></p> <p><span>We are based in Italy but in the vast majority our projects are located abroad.</span></p> <p><span>Our aim is to form and upskill the resource towards key roles within Construction management and finally have a future Construction / Site Manager.</span></p> <p><span>We offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people</span></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>About You:</strong></p> <p><span>We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:</span></p> <ul> <li>Graduation in Engineering</li> <li>Full availability to move abroad even for long term assignment at any jobsite</li> <li>Fluency in spoken and written English</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office main applications (at least Word and Excel, preferably also Access, Project and PowerPoint).</li> <li>Familiarity with the use of Autocad and 3D-viewers shall be considered a plus.</li> </ul> <p><span>We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, open and teamwork-oriented people.</span></p> <p><span>Full availability to move, especially abroad, is essential.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><a rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><strong>What’s Next?</strong></a></p> <p>Starting Date: October 2024</p> <p> </p> <p>Internal applications are treated with priority by our Recruiting Team against external applications.  We also consider providing timely and direct feedback to internal applicants a must have.
