Summary
Complete/lead cost allocation studies; evaluate/lead the development of new pricing solutions; complete/lead a variety of costing and pricing analyses dependent upon Excel and/or SAS expertise; represent Association Pricing throughout SRP; develop rate goals and designs and act as project leader in the rate adjustment process.
What You'll Do
- Define problems, collect data, apply advanced economic and mathematical concepts, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Work often requires the analysis of large datasets using complex modeling.
- Recommend solutions to new and complex problems, develop innovative strategies, quantify the competitive performance of the organization's operations and/or markets, and evaluate the potential impact of changes
- Develop financial analyses, models, and systems based on complex operational, economic, market and internal data to develop financial scenarios, plans, and budgets, and to quantify and report SRP financial performance.
- May design innovative improvements and direct these changes in the historical cost allocation study and the marginal cost study for standard water rate adjustments. Prepare complete cost and financial analyses for other purposes.
- May develop rate goals and design and act as project leader in the rate adjustment process. Analyze Association revenue requirements in relation to Association rate and financial goals.
- May evaluate and recommend changes in administering regulatory and legal requirements for standard adjustments, for falling water and environmental project adjustments, and for special water contracts and agreements when rate or price related.
- Improve methodologies for use in forecasting water revenues, including load forecasts, for inclusion in the corporate budget and financial plan.
- Analyze impacts of change and proposed changes in government policies and legislation

- Ability to perform multiple assignments concurrently under stress.
- Ability to provide accurate, timely and concrete analysis and recommendations to GM Staff and SRP Board.
