The Opportunity
FICO is hiring an Office Manager/Assistant to the President of Software to be at the heart of our Menlo Park headquarters — the person who shapes the environment where groundbreaking financial decisions get made. You'll have real ownership from day one, driving events that bring people together, keeping operations humming, and directly supporting the senior leaders who steer one of the most influential companies in the fintech world. This isn't a background role — it's a highly visible position where your organizational instincts and energy will have a tangible impact on culture, collaboration, and how work gets done. If you're someone who thrives on variety, loves creating great experiences, and wants to grow alongside a world-class team, this is the opportunity for you.
What You'll Contribute
Plan, coordinate, and execute in-office and offsite events — from team meetings and executive gatherings to celebrations and employee appreciation activities — owning all logistics end-to-end, including venue setup, catering, A/V, vendor coordination, hotel arrangements, and restaurant reservations.
Maintain a master events calendar, keep stakeholders informed, and apply post-event feedback to continuously improve programming.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Menlo Park office, maintaining a welcoming and well-organized environment.
Manage supplies, equipment, vendor relationships, and facilities requests, and act as the first point of contact for visitors and building management.
Support the President of Software with calendar management, meeting scheduling, travel coordination, and light administrative tasks.
Prepare agendas, materials, and meeting notes, handle sensitive information with discretion, and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and logistics gaps before they arise.
What We're Seeking
Because of the in-office nature of this role, the individual must be able to commute to the Menlo Park office for work; this role is not remote.
Corporate experience in events coordination, office management, or administrative support.
Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a consistent bias toward follow-through.
Clear, confident communicator — written and verbal — who thrives in a service-oriented role and works effectively across teams and levels.
Ability to juggle competing priorities and stay calm under pressure.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Genuine enthusiasm for building community and creating great in-person experiences.
Experience supporting C-suite or senior executives, familiarity with Asana or Monday.com, and a background in a fast-paced tech environment preferred.
Our Offer to You
An inclusive culture strongly reflecting our core values: Act Like an Owner, Delight Our Customers and Earn the Respect of Others.
The opportunity to make an impact and develop professionally by leveraging your unique strengths and participating in valuable learning experiences.
Highly competitive compensation, benefits and rewards programs that encourage you to bring your best every day and be recognized for doing so.
An engaging, people-first work environment offering work/life balance, employee resource groups, and social events to promote interaction and camaraderie.
