The Regional Sales & Education Manager for Southeast (preferred to be located in North Carolina) is a Cosmetic industry leader who drives sales revenue in a multi-state territory, that includes supporting a home market of doors. You are a self-starting, highly motivated individual who is energized by growing your market share within your region by developing a team of strong Sales & Education Managers and Coordinators to build retailer relationships that drive sales through in-store selling, training, event planning and execution and develop strategies specific to retailer needs.
Role & Responsibilities:
Retail Sales Achievement & Analytics:
- In partnership with the Director of Sales you will develop a regional strategy to achieve retailer sales targets and provide growth YOY, assuring a focus on elevating brand awareness to reach maximum ROI.
- Manage, coach and track sales and training performance for all direct reports, as well as your home market of doors and communicate opportunities and proposed solutions to leaders.
- Partner with direct reports on regular business reviews with in-store retail partners to communicate business trends and negotiate elevated store training opportunities and event strategies to drive retail sales growth.
- Achieve profitability targets through growth of top line sales and ownership and strategic allocation of regional budgets (i.e. Travel and Expense, Freelance, etc.)
- Proactively communicate opportunities and challenges to leadership, offering actionable solutions to drive improvement.
- Establish strong relationships with retailer leadership and conduct consistent in-person business meetings to gain support in driving the business.
Leadership:
- Conduct and participate in regular touchbases with direct reports to assure strong communication and partnership alignment.
- Recruit, interview and onboard all new direct reports in partnership with leadership, HR and the Education team.
- Spend time in the field with the sales team to identify talent needs with hands-on coaching performance.
- Create a positive, empowering, supportive environment with clear and consistent priorities.
- Develop and coach to the strengths of all direct reports. Focus on long term career development for all employees.
Education & Events:
- Execute Event & Education initiatives within Key Retailers
- Coach and develop your team to plan and execute in-store events including elevated brand experience events and provide strategic in-store partnerships to achieve sales targets.
- Model and hold direct reports accountable to the Supergoop! Super Operating Procedures to ensure consistency across the field and maintain a “Best in Class” experience for our retailers and clients.
- Support and manage field team accountability of our digital learning platform, Supergoop! SPF Academy, to ensure compliance of applicable Learning Plans and Product Courses.
Job Qualifications
- 5 years Beauty Sales & Education experience preferred
- 3 years minimum of leadership role experience preferred
- Experience with, and understanding of the Sephora and ULTA business is essential
- Must be willing to work a Tuesday - Saturday schedule and spend up to 80% of the time in-store
- Seeing as we are a seasonal brand, there is a blackout period starting in Spring through Summer, with some flexibility to request time off. Dates vary every year and are determined by the Leadership team.

- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills
- Passion for selling and ability to demonstrate and motivate teams through hands-on execution
- Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel overnight, 2 times per month or as the business needs and needs of the team warrant
- Proficient computer skills— Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), App based communication is a bonus such as Slack.
