Air Compressor Field Mechanic

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Air Compressor Field Mechanics for projects located in and around Sun Valley, CA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $35/hour based on experience & skill level plus $100/per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Air Compressor Field Mechanic and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair air compressor systems at Texas A&M, College Station.
• Work directly with the maintenance team to diagnose issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Ensure air compressor equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
• Perform on-site service, repair, and maintenance of air compressors and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide timely solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Install new air compressor systems and components as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors to explain repairs and maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience as an Air Compressor Technician or in Industrial Equipment Maintenance
• Strong Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
• Valid DL & clean driving record
• Strong communication skills 
• Technical Certifications or Training in HVAC, Pneumatics, or Related Field is a Plus
