Providence is calling a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis who will:

• Perform Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for the group’s operational budget (comparing budgets at the GL account level, performing budget versus actuals variance analysis for monthly and year to date views)
• Provide forecasting for total year performance for the departments operational budgets
• Focus on measuring productivity
• Serve as a member of the service area team
• Sit on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding the team's financial performance
• Analyze, understand and report on key financial and business trends for the organization
• Collect, research and organize financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses
• Apply advanced knowledge and skills
• Perform difficult and complex tasks
• Provides guidance, assistance and training to more junior-level analysts
• Support larger and/or more complex service area teams

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
• 5+ years of analytical and business experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Master's Degree in Business Administration
• 2+ years of healthcare related experience
• Experience in Labor Productivity Analysis
• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) budget versus actuals variance analysis
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
