Position Summary

As a Cyber Security Awareness Lead, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness program. Your goal will be to increase awareness of cybersecurity risks and promote secure behaviors among all employees, driving cultural change. You will work closely with the Cyber Security Operations, Legal, HR, and Compliance teams to identify areas of risk and develop strategies to mitigate these risks through education and training.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an annual cybersecurity awareness plan that aligns with the organization's security policies and risk management strategy.

• Create engaging and informative cybersecurity training materials, including presentations, newsletters, and online courses.

• Organize and conduct regular cybersecurity awareness sessions and workshops for employees at all levels.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to ensure training materials are relevant and effective.

• Measure the effectiveness of the cybersecurity awareness program through surveys, quizzes, and other assessment tools, and adjust the program based on feedback and results.

• Collaborate with the rest of the company to coordinate security initiatives and ensure consistent communication of security policies and practices.

• Lead cybersecurity awareness campaigns during key events such as Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

• Apply advanced instructional design skills and methodology with effective adult learning principles and creativity to engage learners.

• Identify, contribute, and recommend new ideas or methods for enhancing curriculum, in collaboration with team members.

• Conduct interviews and collaborate with technical and non-technical staff to quickly assess, design, develop and deploy training and awareness materials.

• Provide input to management regarding related guidelines, policies, procedures and/or projects.

• Design, develop and revise training and informational resources, participant materials and supporting documentation.

• Stay current and expand knowledge on instructional design and e-learning industry trends and related technology including web-based design methodologies.

• Participate in audits and assessments and provide ongoing feedback and recommendations to management.

• Analyze content, target audience and Cyber Security Risk Management Framework to identify appropriate instructional strategies and define learning objectives, monitoring changes in procedures and policies including lessons learned, auditing findings for impact and incorporation into training materials.

• Maintaining an auditable training and procedure record keeping system, working with HR, Compliance, and Security Operations.

• Actively participate in associated working groups and professional organizations relative to training and cyber security.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
