Senior Backend Software Developer (.NET/C#)

This initiative marks an important step forward in bringing together top technical talent, optimizing our processes, and shaping the future direction of our organization.  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer specializing in backend development to join our team. This role will focus on building and implementing scalable domain services using C# and .NET, while contributing to the architecture, operations, and overall system design. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions hosted on an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) setup. While another team manages the AKS infrastructure, prior DevOps and deployment experience will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:  

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and solutions using C#and .NET. 
• Contribute to architecture, system design, and technical decision-making for enterprise-level domain services. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application development from initial concept through production deployment
• Build highly testable and maintainable code by adhering to modern development practices, including unit testing and automated testing. 
• Ensure robust API development with an understanding of modern API frameworks (e.g., REST, GraphQL). 
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including the transition from development to operations. 
• Implement and maintain DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment. 
• Debug, identify and fix issues, and optimize services in both development and production environments while collaborating effectively with hosting/infrastructure teams
• Promote knowledge sharing and mentor team members where needed, contributing to a collaborative team culture. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:  

• 5+ years of experiencein backend development using C# and .NET frameworks. 
• Proficiency in system design, architecture planning, and scalable application development. 
• Demonstrated problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills to deliver high-quality solutions
• Solid experience with unit testing, automated testing frameworks, and writing clean, testable code. 
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including experience working with CI/CD pipelinesand deployment processes. 
• Understanding of modern API standards (e.g., REST, GraphQL) and their practical implementation in scalable systems. 
• Experience with containerization technologies(e.g., Docker) and basic knowledge of Kubernetes platforms like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). 
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams
• Prior experience working in agile development environments.
• Nice-to-have Skills & Qualifications:
• Familiarity with IAM (Identity and Access Management) tools such as Keycloakand Microsoft Entra ID. 
• Experience with event streaming and event based systems. 
• Knowledge of Kubernetes advanced concepts is an added advantage. 
• Experience integrating services and systems within enterprise environments.
