Job Description

The Financial Analyst helps prepare forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas.  Utilizing PC and/or mainframe based systems and software, compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data. Will work as a business partner to the North America commercial team.

• Support and assist in the Annual Operating Plan process. 
• Organize data into accessible reports and perform variance analysis for the commercial team.
• Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
• Assist in a variety of functions in the support of the sales force, such as territory alignment and monitoring the sales within territories; periodically publishing sales activity reports; monitor the sales quota in accordance with the profit plan
• Support and assist in the close process. Complete analysis, prepare journal entries and analysis information for accuracy and completeness 
• Support North American SG&A teams on an as-needed basis. (spending projections, variance analysis, etc.)
• Look for opportunities to improve the process effectiveness.

• Prepare month-end and variance reports.  Ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of financial data.
• Involved with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3  years finance or related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Proficient in using computers and related software to perform financial tasks: specifically setting up spreadsheet formulas, linking spreadsheets, extracting data, developing graphs.
• Strong in MS Excel and Oracle preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
• Good analytical, organizational and communication skills.
