If so, this could be the right opportunity for you.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>About the role</span></b><span> </span></p><p><span><span>As a </span></span><b><span>Senior Plant & Layout Engineer</span></b><span><span>, you will play a key role in our projects, with responsibility for developing, reviewing, and </span><span>optimizing</span><span> plant layouts and technical solutions</span><span>. You wil</span><span>l work closely with both Swedish and international colleagues, actively </span><span>participate</span><span> in project execution and proposal work, and act as a technical expert within your field.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span>Your main responsibilities include:</span></span><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Designing and </span><span>optimizing</span><span> plant layouts and related mechanical solutions.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Conducting engineering analyses to ensure solutions meet project quality and productivity requirements.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Reviewing and approving drawings, models, and technical specifications.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Coordinating with other disciplines to secure integrated solutions.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Identifying</span><span> risks and impleme</span><span>nting</span><span> processes to meet project quality objectives.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Coaching and supporting junior engineers and designers.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Coordinating and fol</span><span>lowing up on subcontracted engineering work when </span><span>required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Who are you?</span></b><span> </span></p><p><span><span>To succeed in this role, you hold a degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, process, or similar) and have at least </span><span>8-10</span><span> years of relevant experience in plant design and layout.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span>We also value:</span></span><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong skil</span><span>ls in </span></span><b><span>E3D, Rohr2, Comos, and AutoCAD</span></b><span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>A solid background in mechanical design, Piping design, or similar fields.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>The ability to work independently with complex engineering tasks.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong communication skills in both English and Swedish, spoken and w</span><span>ritten.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Experience working in international project environments.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>A solution-oriented and detail-focused mindset, with the ability to mentor and inspire colleagues.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Willingness to travel occasionally. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span>The position is placed in Gothenburg, Sweden and will be part of </span><span>the PEC </span><span>PEx</span><span> Plant Engineering team with many colleagues in both Sweden and internationally.
