Job Description

**This is an onsite role at our facility in Windsor, CT**

Are you a dynamic leader with a knack for orchestrating seamless Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Planning (SIOP) processes? We're on the lookout for a strategic maestro to lead our division to new heights. If you're ready to be at the forefront of driving success, read on!

Here's what your role will encompass:

🌟 Demand Dynamo: Take ownership of the demand forecast for our division, ensuring it aligns with our financial plan.

🌟 Collaboration Maestro: Coordinate and negotiate demand and output forecasts with Strategic Business Units, Customer Service, and Operations, ensuring seamless alignment.

🌟 Sales Strategist: Develop division sales forecasts, considering mix, volume, and pricing impacts, and be the driving force behind meeting financial goals.

🌟 Budget Maestro: Develop and own the division's annual sales budget, playing a pivotal role in shaping our financial roadmap.

🌟 Analytical Innovator: Develop cutting-edge analytical models and tools that support forecast development on an extended horizon.

🌟 Metrics Maven: Establish KPIs for forecast accuracy, keeping us on the path of continuous improvement.

🌟 SIOP Sentinel: Own and facilitate a disciplined divisional SIOP process, ensuring every cog in the machine is working harmoniously.

🌟 Financial Navigator: Drive daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly initiatives that align with the financial expectations of our portfolio.

🌟 Team Leader: Provide guidance, coaching, and identify learning opportunities for all Materials & SIOP staff members.

🌟 What We're Looking For: To be our SIOP maestro, you should bring:

✅ Proven experience in leading SIOP processes

✅ Strategic negotiation and coordination skills

✅ Analytical prowess with a penchant for innovation

✅ Budget development and ownership experience

✅ A passion for driving financial success

✅ Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or supply chain
  • 5-10 years experience in a vertically integrated manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or automotive industries
  • 3-5 years in a production planning/scheduling lead role
  • Prior experience leading a SIOP process
  • Familiarity with Power BI
  • Previous responsibility for at least one or more of the following:  Shipping & Receiving, Inventory, capacity planning
  • Leadership experience managing a team of 5 or more
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, forecasting, and analyzing OEM and aftermarket demand.
  • APICS CPIM or equivalent coursework
  • Lean/OpEx certification(s) a plus
