Principal Technologist (Security Presales)

We have an exciting new role for a Principal Technologist with a focus on security to be part of our presales team. You work with our enterprise clients to design security solutions, working closely with our sales & presales teams. This role requires a deep understanding of the security domain, along with top level skills in pre-sales, especially the ability to understand complex technical environments, architecture and business needs.
The Role

• Identify and qualify opportunities in the security space and come up with optimal solutions for our clients.
• Act as a thought leader for client pre-sales engagement for security related solutions.
• Consult, architect and advise on state-of-the-art technical security solutions, particularly those related to M365, Azure, Incident detection/response & SOC
• Address client's current and future requirements in the security domain in order for them to secure their business interests and systems
• Lead the consultation with clients, working with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs and challenges, often by running workshops. Utilize a deep technical knowledge of the security domain to come up with appropriate technical solutions & develop high level designs.
• Present solution options to Senior Management and various stakeholders (C-Suite & Directors).
• Develop and refine pre-sales material (documentation, presentations, written requirements and strategic direction) content to strengthen offerings, response collateral and customer responses.
• Help establish pre-sales path to proof-of-concept prototypes that assess the feasibility of solutions and demonstrate to our clients/partners how technology can be leveraged.
• Provide product development feedback for existing and future capability.
The tech we use (experience or certification on as many of these is a plus):
Azure Cloud Security , Azure Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Gateway Security, Network Security Groups, Privileged Access & Vulnerability Management, User Defined Routes/Azure Firewall, Application Whitelisting and Endpoint Protection, Express Route Circuits, Network Peering, Azure Logging/ OMS, Cybersecurity Operations/Compliance, SOC, Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR), Azure Application Gateway
The perfect candidate will have

• Deep technical skills in the security domain, ideally including M365, Azure, Incident detection/response & SOC
• Top level skills in dealing with clients and in pre-sales and solution architecture
• An excellent understanding of business requirements, challenges and roadblocks
• Presentation skills par excellence, that can be adapted to suit technical and business audiences
• Familiarity with as much of the tech mentioned above as possible
