Job Summary:
Monitors the receipt of and reviews all final/trailing loan documents to ensure compliance with applicable servicer requirements. Prepares final loan documents for shipment to new servicers, investors and mortgage lenders.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Obtains, tracks receipt of and reviews accuracy of all final title policies and recorded mortgages (i.e., final documents)
• Compiles, uploads and/or ships all final title policies and recorded mortgages to investor – after loans are purchased
• Monitors investor final document reporting and regularly corresponds with investors/servicers for updates
• Assists with special projects (as needed)
• Performs administrative tasks, such as – shipment preparation, typing, scanning, copying, classification/organization, record keeping
Requirements
Job Specifications
Minimum Education & Experience: High school graduate with basic academic and practical skills gained through school curriculum, combined with up to one year general work experience and/or training. General knowledge of mortgage loan processing/closing fundamentals is preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
• Customer-service oriented with excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Strong attention to details and organizational skills a MUST
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to interpret, analyze and evaluate information relative to post closing processes/functions
• Administrative skills including (but not limited to); typing, use of PC equipment & Microsoft Office Programs, basic technical aptitude, research, shipment preparation and use of copiers/scanners.
Work Conditions: Some weekend work may be required.
