About the role

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the full-cycle talent acquisition/recruiting process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires. 
  • Create and manage reporting metrics for talent acquisition.
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee experience, engagement, and productivity within the workplace as a member of the culture committee.
  • Electronically manage employee records for benefits plan participation, personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics reporting via Workday HRIS.
  • Coordinate activity within the learning management system and required annual training; Partner with external vendors to manage benefits programs such as life, health, dental, and disability insurances, 401 (k), leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Investigates accidents and prepares reports for the insurance carrier as needed.
  • Conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

HR Knowledge:

  • Understanding of employment law, labor laws, and current HR trends is vital for compliance and effective HR practices.

Data Analysis & Literacy:

  • The ability to analyze, interpret, and apply data to inform strategic decisions and support day-to-day operations.

Software Proficiency:

Skill in using HR software, such as Workday, ADP, and Microsoft systems for recruitment, performance monitoring, and other HR processes.

  • The capability to utilize and adapt to innovative technologies and digital practices to improve HR's impact and prepare the organization for digital transformation.

Communication:

  • .The ability to effectively convey information, mediate conflicts, and build strong relationships with employees, candidates, and other stakeholders.

  • Upholds ethical standards and maintains integrity to foster a trustworthy and ethical work environment.

  • Skilled in maintaining electronic records, able to manage multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
