We know fun and we always have a team event on our calendars.</p><h3>Role | </h3> <p>We are seeking a <a href="https://ukio.workable.com/backend/jobs/2749880/edit#" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener">Purchasing and Project Assistant</a> to join our team in Paris. This is an entry role level where you will manage different projects simultaneously and partner with our Interior Designers to ensure that all of our furniture, design, and service needs meet our budget and timelines. On a day-to-day basis, you will help with the ordering, tracking and installation of furniture across our apartments. Internally, we refer to this position as a Project Manager.</p><h3>Responsibilities | </h3><ul> <li>Working closely with our interior designers to ensure project budgets and deadlines are met</li> <li>Communicating frequently with the interior designer to communicate project obstacles and resolutions</li> <li>Tracking of orders for simultaneous projects and ensuring they are delivered prior to the apartment installation/assembling deadlines</li> <li>Resolving issues with deliveries &amp; communication with suppliers</li> <li>Supervising the installation/assembly of the apartment and confirming order delivery</li> <li>Making in-store purchases for outstanding pieces for our apartments</li> <li>Participating in the staging of the apartment in preparation for the photoshoot</li> <li>Managing of all furniture &amp; item return processes with suppliers</li> <li>Delivering of the apartments within the deadlines and preparing them for our guests </li> </ul><h3>About you | </h3> <ul> <li>You enjoy hands on tasks and working on the field</li> <li>You are able to work in a fast paced environment and on multiple projects at a time</li> <li>You have great communication and are able to anticipate issues</li> <li>You are proactive, dynamic and energetic</li> <li>You're a go-getter who is highly organized</li> <li>Proficient in Excel (Familiar with Formulas, Filters, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting)</li> <li>Experience within the interior design, retail, or furniture industry highly desired</li> <li>You can perform under pressure while reaching tight deadlines</li> <li>Comfortable working with suppliers and vendors</li> <li>Design and crafts knowledge would be a plus</li> <li>Fluency in English and GERMAN is a must</li> <li>Flexible, resilient and content with ambiguity and changes.</li> <li>Confident with working in cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Comfortable performing in a start-up environment.</li> <li>Driver's license is highly desired</li> </ul><h3>What we offer you | <br/> </h3> <ul> <li>Competitive annual gross salary, to be determined in line with your knowledge and experience </li> <li>Bonus Scheme</li> <li>Private Insurance</li> <li>Flexible schedule</li> <li>Team events and an amazing internal culture</li> </ul> <p>Ukio's culture promotes and values each individual's contribution.
