Your New Role

The Coordinator, Deliverables and Payment Administration is responsible for administering contract compliance with respect to production funding for Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) commissioned content.  The Coordinator manages a large project load across multiple WBD networks and works within a collaborative Production Management team to ensure production companies and talent have met their contractual obligations for payment issuance.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Manage payments to external production companies and WBD-paid talent, monitoring contractual milestones and releasing payments through financial systems
  • Review delivered program materials for contract compliance.  Track key deliverables timed to arrive with the program master for Global Day & Date exploitation
  • Draft producer and talent payment schedules during contract negotiation
  • Create and maintain trackers for financial details on assigned shows
  • Perform tasks related to change in financials throughout the production cycle, including the processing of overages and up-orders
  • Provide support to Production Management and Finance on cash flow management
  • Assist production companies and talent/agents with the setup and maintenance of their vendor profile in WBD’s supplier portal
  • Respond to payment inquiries from external and internal stakeholders including production companies, talent/agents, network Programming & Production, Production Management, Business and Legal Affairs, and Talent Management

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of Media Production experience, at a network or production company
  • Finance, Legal, or Production Accounting background strongly preferred
  • Understanding of and experience in the Media Production process and current industry standard practices
  • Proficiency with common production and finance applications such as Excel and SAP strongly preferred.  Ability to quickly learn Warner Bros. Discovery proprietary systems
  • Highly organized self-starter who has the ability to prioritize duties effectively.  A high level of organizational ability and time management skills are necessary in order to succeed in this role.  Ability to work across multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines
  • Team player who can build productive relationships.  Must be able to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Must have the ability to work with and maintain confidential information

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $42,210.00 - $78,390.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
