Primary Purpose of this Position: 

The VP, Global Head of Total Rewards and HR Transformation, crucially orchestrates the design and implementation of global total rewards programs, and spearheads HR transformation in collaboration with the VP, HR Enabling Services. Key responsibilities include managing executive compensation, delivering board-level presentations, and crafting global incentive schemes. This role, in unison with the Global Head of Talent, aims to redefine the Total Rewards Philosophy for Ball, targeting a revamp of the total rewards system over the next 12-24 months to more closely tie compensation to performance and support organizational growth, and drive better talent outcomes Ball. 

  

What will you be responsible for? 

  • Total Rewards Program Design: Creating and implementing comprehensive global total rewards strategies.  

  • Executive Compensation Management: Overseeing executive compensation and compliance.  

  • Board-Level Engagement: Presenting and advising on compensation matters to the board.  

  • Global Incentive Schemes: Developing incentive programs aligned with global business objectives.  

  • Global Benefits Strategy: Designing and managing worldwide employee benefits programs, aligning them with diverse cultural and regulatory  

  • Global Recognition Programs: Crafting and implementing recognition schemes that resonate across diverse global teams.  

  • Strategic HR Transformation: Driving organizational change in HR practices and policies.  

  • Collaboration with HR Leadership: Working closely with HR leaders, especially the VP, HR Enabling Services, and the Global Head of Talent.  

  • Redefining Total Rewards Philosophy: Overhauling the total rewards approach to enhance pay-for-performance alignment and support overall business growth.  

What are we looking for? 

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education with a preference towards a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree 

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience doing Total Rewards leadership inclusive of experience presenting to the Compensation Committee of a board. 

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive total rewards strategies aligned with business goals.  

  • Technical Expertise in Compensation and Benefits: In-depth knowledge of compensation structures, benefits management, and global market trends.  

  • Executive Compensation Expertise: Advanced knowledge and experience in designing, managing, and advising on executive compensation programs, including understanding of market benchmarks, performance metrics, and regulatory requirements. This skill is crucial for ensuring competitive and compliant executive pay structures.  

  • Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership abilities to guide and develop teams, and manage large-scale projects.  

  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial implications of rewards programs and budget management.  

  • Analytical and Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in using data analytics to inform and optimize total rewards strategies.  

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities for effective stakeholder engagement and board-level presentations.  

  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of legal and regulatory aspects globally.  

  • Change Management: Skills in driving organizational change and managing HR transformations.  

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hiring Salary Range: $230,00 - 350,000 USD*. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. *If this role is offered/hired in another country, local market data will be used.  

  • This role is eligible to participate in our short and long-term incentive bonus programs.
