We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related Engineering field. Do you enjoy developing new products and services? Join us! Our Software Engineers work in an agile, collective environment. You will be using your skills and expertise to define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products. These cover a very wide range of advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft systems. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle. Specifically, your role will include:
- Distilling software requirements from high-level customer requirements.
- Architecting scalable and maintainable software systems to meet complex customer requirements.
- Coordinating software design and development between multiple internal and external teams.
- Collaborating with systems engineering to achieve a cohesive system design utilizing MBSE.

- Passion for product development agility, velocity & quality
- Innovative thinker with good problem solving and communication skills
- Experience architecting complex integrated software systems spanning multiple SCIs
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
- Experience with the entire software development lifecycle
- Familiarity of object oriented programming design patterns and service based architectures
- Strong team player motivated by team success

Must-haves:
- Bachelor's of Science degree Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience
