What Drives Success
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
The Production Manager for our Assembly Operations is responsible for developing, executing and maintaining operations to assure that all products manufactured by the organization meet customer demand. This position reports to the Assembly Operations Leader and works closely with other managers across the facility to execute straties to meet Assembly KPIs. In addtition, the Production Manager is responsible for the following:
- Identifying and removing barries to meeting daily production requirements
- Developing long-term strategy for the improving quality and safety results
- Developing Front-Line Leadership (Supervisors and Group Leaders) to drive for results, meet their safety and production goals, and effectively lead and develop their teams
- Identify and drive engagement strategies to increase employee retention
- Identifying and leading continuous improvement strategies to increase overall success
- Align Manufacturing Organization with Quality Assurance objectives and work closely with other members supporting Lean-Sigma initiatives.
- Actively participating in the implementation of strategies in a cross-functional manner
- Other tasks as directed
Other Work Requirements
- This is an on-site role based in Orangeburg, SC (This position is 100% onsite)
What We Are Looking For
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business or other related major required.
- 5-10 years proven track record of increasing responsibility, pro-active, operations or production management in fast-paced environment(s) required.
- Direct HVAC, Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma experience a strong plus.
- Solid analytical, interpersonal (including coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution) and verbal/written communication skills required. Strong planning, project management, and organizing skills required.
- Solid working knowledge of Lean production management and quality integration concepts and a proven track record of change implementation are required.
- Current and thorough knowledge of PC software applications, including Microsoft Office products and project management software required.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with production, purchasing, engineering, sales, quality, finance, human resources and other stake holders within the organization to achieve overall company objectives required.
What We Offer
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $99,000 and $129,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
