Job Overview
At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. As an Intern in the Medical Business Unit, you will:
Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineer Intern for the Medical Business Unit will be responsible for supporting product and process development engineering activities of new medical device products.
Expected results are completion of projects as assigned which can include process development and/or characterization or other engineering projects directly contributing to the business needs with a focus on problem solving, cost reduction and product deliveries.
Responsibilities

Provide support in testing of product designs, fixture design, medical device building and processing medical devices through process equipment.
Learning of medical device technologies, tour manufacturing lines and interacting with cross functional teams
Develop reports of test data with summaries of conclusions based on the data.
Problem solving abilities to resolve complex technical process and product designs.
You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:
Have Received a High School Diploma or GED
Are currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a BA/BS Degree in Data Science, Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering, with perhaps a concentration in medical device product and process design, from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history. (In certain circumstances, students who are taking a gap year will be considered.)
Have previous internship or large project experience is preferred
Are authorized to work in the U.S.

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $19.24--$40.84/HOUR (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
